Captain Sicarius
I originally painted the good Captain to sell on ebay but for two factors: I didn't think he was good enough to sell on ebay and I ended up liking how he came out. He was the first Space Marine (and to this point the only Space Marine) I've ever painted and I had a really good time painting the blues on him. I painted the lightning claws green originally and that is what the picture is of, but I later changed them to metal since I couldn't do a good "lightning" effect. I also attempted some freehand painting on the banner and in case you can't tell, it's a lightning bolt on the front and the Ultramarines U on the back.

Skaven Heroes
When I graduated from high school, I was gifted with a whopping two hundred dollars that I decided to buy a Warhammer army with. And buy one I did. I went to Borderlands in Salem, Oregon (which is still my favorite gamestore) and picked up the recently released boxset of Skaven. It then took me almost 4 years to paint everything in that box. I really like having a fully painted army even though I've rarely played with them and it is fun being able to see the pieces and have a nice way to see how my painting has improved over that time.
My two heroes, a Skaven Warlord and Warplock Engineer, are two of my favorite models of all time. I painted the Warlords shoulder pad green to match my Stormvermin. Unfortunately, the Engineer looks too glossy due to the old school inks I used on him, but I still think he looks great.

Blast from the Past Part 1
Privateer Press's Warmchine line, Cygnar Warcaster Allister Caine. I thought it was one of the coolest models I had ever seen way back in 2004 and it was the first model I felt really proud about painting. Looking back on it now, the eyes are wonky, the metals sub par, and the cloak not well blended. But it was a total pleasure to paint.
Things that were new to me at the time were trying to paint the goatee and using multiple metallics. I still like how his armor turned out and I keep it in my display case as a lesson.

What's this all about?
So, for the most part, I plan on this being my miniature painting blog. I mostly paint Warhammer and Warhammer 40k models with a few Warmachine and other models. I will be uploading pictures since the ones I had before seem to be elsewhere....
Oh yeah, and I'll be linking cool miniatures I like here as well.
